Firestone Collaborates With Tuesday Musical

uesday Musical's Nov. 16 concert at E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall will feature identical twins Christina and Michelle Naughton on Steinway grand pianos. Audience members will see the latest example of how Tuesday Musical collaborates with teachers and students by unveiling student artwork which has been guided by art teacher Patrick Dougherty. Eleventh-graders Evelyn Brooks, Aniushka Muniz Lugo and Jenny Wei from the Akron School for the Arts at Firestone CLC have been creating a series of paintings, documented by student videographer Mikala Ross. This project is the latest in a multi-year collaboration of student artworks inspired by Tuesday Musical's world-acclaimed musicians. Visit tuesdaymusical.org for more information.
