Eighteen students, including 17 IB juniors, gave their time and energy to ensure that others could enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner.
On Wednesday, Nov. 21 these FCLC students helped serve over 150 meals to community members. They presented guests of Christ Woodland United Methodist Church with plates of turkey and all the trimmings, served beverages, cleared tables all with smiling faces in an effort to say thank you for the generosity of the church in hosting our IB examinations for three weeks every May.
These students represented their IBDP (IB Diploma Programme), their school, their families and themselves while completing service hours.
