Firestone had 3 athletes recognized as Scholar Athletes this winter season.
Scholar athletes from winter sports in Akron Public Schools are designated when they achieve a grade point average of 3.4 and above.
In all, APS Athletic Director Joe Vassalotti recognized 116 scholar athletes from the array of winter sports played in high school.
