Criteria
* Nominations must be made by someone other than the candidate.
* The nominee must be alumnus for a minimum of six years before being considered.
* All nominees must have completed a minimum of 2 varsity seasons
* All nominees must have attended Firestone for 4 years.
* Each Nomination stands for 3 years
* Nominee needs to earn 80% of the available votes
Prospective Candidates
* Demonstrate excellence, ethical integrity and leadership in a varsity sport for a minimum of two
years.
* Coaches, administrators and other candidates must be 5 years removed or retired form their
positions before being considered.
* All nominees must demonstrate a level of service or other contributions to the community
* All nominations must be submitted to the main office no later than May 30th to be considered
for the following year.
Committee
* Current Principal
* Current AD
* Two current staff members
* One current PTSA member
* Two alternates to serve in the event that one of the
* Selection Committee members is nominated.
* All votes will remain private
* Member of the Selection Committee will be replaced if they coached a current nominee, have a
family member that is nominated or is nominated for induction.
* Selection Committee can induct any number of Inductees each year.
* Members voted in will be informed by the committee
* Inductees will be expected to attend the annual ceremony
